ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Brittany! Here is a little bit more about me. 

I was born and raised on the beautiful tropical island of Bermuda. My faith in God is the cornerstone of my life. I long to obey his every calling on my life and to learn more about him with each day.

God has granted me a great love for languages, travel, music and his word among many other things.  It is with great joy that I have served at Broadmead Baptist Church in Bristol as the deacon of worship and leading the music ministry over the past few years. While my passion for singing and playing music is undeniable, I also hold a strong belief in the role a thriving music ministry plays within a church. Music, with it's universal language, has the unique ability to touch hearts, inspire worship, and create an atmosphere where the message of God’s love can be effectively communicated all over the world. Over the past year God has made clear to me that the gifts and passions that he has granted me in music should be used intentionally for edifying his church, encouraging God’s people, and reaching the lost in my local community.

So after 8 fulfilling years as a languages teacher in Bristol, UK, I feel called to a new adventure where I can join these particular passions in study of his Word. I am grateful for the opportunity my school has given me to study at Moore Theological College in Sydney Australia for the coming 2 years.
